Volunteer at Filbert Street Garden
Volunteers are at the heart of Filbert Street Garden, helping us grow, care for, and strengthen this shared community space in Curtis Bay.
Get InvolvedThere’s a Place for You Here
Whether you want to get your hands dirty in the garden, support beautification projects, help with animal care, or learn more about beekeeping, Filbert Street Garden welcomes individuals, families, groups, and organizations ready to contribute.
Garden Volunteers
Help with planting, weeding, garden cleanups, seasonal crops, raised beds, and everyday tasks that keep the garden growing.
Animal Care & Projects
Support animal care, clean the chicken coop, help improve goat spaces, or assist with creative projects that make the garden more welcoming.
Groups & Organizations
Volunteer groups are especially helpful for larger projects like clearing old raised beds, beautification work, and community improvement days.

Bee Club Volunteers
Love bees or curious about beekeeping? Join our thriving Bee Club at Filbert Street Garden.
Volunteers, beekeepers, and organizations can help care for hives, gain hands-on experience, and often make use of the garden’s beekeeping equipment.
For Bee Club information, contact Charles DeBarber at charles@filbertstreetgarden.org.
